- Extra Help Required??: In order
to prevent problems from arising when the carrier tries to deliver
a LARGE display case, please keep the following points
in mind: If you should have any questions, perhaps it would be
to your benefit to state "EXTRA HELP REQUIRED" for
an extra charge from the carrier, to avoid any delays or problems
with the delivery of the display case. Some carriers do not have
extra help available, so you will have to arrange for a moving
company to pickup at the carrier's dock and deliver to destination.
"INSIDE DELIVERY" marked on the order will allow the
driver to take the shipment inside, out of the weather, ONLY
IF A DOCK IS AVAILABLE. They will not deliver inside
or on a higher floor unless an elevator is available. This, too,
may be an additional charge. You may request the carrier to call
before delivery, at an additional charge, for help at the site
for unloading. Also, it is important to note that many carriers
have implemented a NON-COMMERCIAL DELIVERY CHARGE. There
will be an approximate $40 additional charge for deliveries to
private residences, apartments, camps, mini-storage units, correctional
facilities, schools, churches or other locations not generally
recognized as commercial establishments.
